disappointing is an understatement

My 85 year-old mother used this to load up stories and read them at the doctor’s office. Now the offline portion is useless.

"Will I be able to do offline reading?For offline reading, please enable the preload toggle (Settings > Content > Preload all sections at app launch).With this enabled, the app will preload content in the background. We are aware that this process currently takes a while to complete. Our team is working on improving this function in the upcoming weeks.”

Really? I waited, shut off the wifi, and it said “Content Unavailable”. You have no sense of when it’s done downloading the content. Disappointing.
